When a random user on this social media platform is inspired by a pin you posted or maybe they simply have a question, the comment section is the place to let you know how they feel. Although they can also make use of the direct message feature, personally I prefer the comments feature.
With this section, you get reviews from people on the platform, how your pin is faring. You also get advice and tips from users on the platform, on how to improve on a said topic. How To Add, Edit, And Delete Comments On Pinterest
Normally whenever you have got something great to say about a pin on Pinterest you can leave a comment. Or if you have suggestions for improvement, you can also leave a comment. Also, you can mention someone via comment to share a great pin with them.
Computer
To Add A Comment On Pinterest;
- Log in to your Pinterest account.
- Locate and click on a pin.
- Click on the comments option next to photos.
- You can now add your comments next to the add comment field. Or you can choose to mention up to 5 people on Pinterest.
- Click on the done tab when are finished to save your comment.
To Edit A Comment;
- Next to a pin, you comment on, click on comments.
- Click on the three-dotted icon just below the comment you want to edit.
- Click on the edit option, update your comment and lastly click on edit to save your changes.
To delete a comment;
- Click on comments under a pin.
- Click on the three-dotted icon below the comment you want to delete.
- Lastly, click on delete and then click on delete again to confirm your action.
Android
Add A Comment;
- Open the Pinterest app on your android device.
- Tap on a pin and then tap on comments.
- On the next page, tap add comment.
- Enter your comment in the ‘add public comment’ field or you can choose to mention up to five people to share a pin with.
- Lastly, tap on the send icon.
Edit A Comment;
- Open the app.
- Locate the pin you commented on, scroll down, and tap comments.
- Select the comment you want to edit and tap the three-dotted icon.
- Tap the edit option and then update your comment.
- Tap done to save changes when you are done.
Delete A Comment;
- Locate the pin and scroll down.
- Tap on comments and select the comment you want to delete.
- Tap on the three-dotted icon and lastly tap on delete.
iOS
Add A Comment;
- Open the Pinterest app.
- Locate and tap on a pin.
- Below the share your feedback option, tap add a comment or photo.
- Next, enter your comment in the field or mention up to five people you want to share he said pin with.
- Lastly, tap on the send icon.
Edit A Comment;
- Locate the pin and scroll down to share your feedback.
- Select and tap the comment you want to edit.
- Tap the three-dotted icon and then tap on edit.
- Update your comment and tap on done to save your changes.
Delete A Comment
- Scroll down to comments from a pin you commented on.
- Tap on the comment that you want to delete.
- Tap on the three-dotted icon and then select delete.
- Lastly, tap on delete again to confirm.
That’s it. When dropping comments on this platform, you are allowed a total of 500 characters.
