Facebook is a social media platform that is used for sharing, connecting, and communicating with friends and family. Also, it is great for finding and meeting new people in your area far from you. The platform is simple with a great user interface that is easy to understand.
On Facebook, you can play games, use the marketplace to buy and sell locally. Also, you can stream videos with the Watch feature. There’s so much more you can do on the platform, but first, you need to create an account.
Facebook Create can be done using the Facebook mobile application or the website. You can get the app from the app store of the device you’re using.
Facebook Account Create
As I said earlier, signing up for a Facebook account is simple and fast. There are two methods to use for the account; email or phone number. To create your account, follow the steps below;
Create using the web;
- Launch your web browser and go to www.facebook.com.
- On the signup form, enter your name, email or phone number, date of birth, and the gender you want.
- Click on “Sign Up”
To finish the creation process, you would be required to confirm the email address or phone number. This can be done, by clicking on the link that would be emailed to your mailbox. Or enter the code that would be sent as a Text message.
Using Mobile App;
- Open the app and tap on “Create new account”.
- Tap on “Get Started”
- A sign-up form would be displayed, type in your first name and last name, then tap on “Next”.
- Select your birthday and gender.
- Provide your phone number or tap on “Use email address”.
- Choose a password and tap on “Sign Up”.
The account would be created immediately. Then you would be required to confirm the email address or phone number. Now you have an account, you can create a group and also a page.
Facebook Group Create
Creating a Facebook group is simple and free. To have your own group, follow the guides below;
- Open your Facebook profile and hit on “Create”.
- Enter the name you want for a group, add members and choose the privacy option you want to use.
- Hit on “Create” to commence.
Immediately the group would be created. Once the group is created, you can personalize it by uploading a cover image. Also, get a brief description of the group.
Creating a Facebook Page
To create a page on the platform, follow the simple instructions below;
- Navigate to the “Create” tab and select “Page”.
- Choose the page type you’d like to create.
- Fill out the required information and hit on “Continue”.
- Then follow the on-screen instructions below to commence.
Your page would be created immediately and you can assign admins. Invite friends to like the page.
