SNAP EBT Card
The SNAP EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card is what I have referred to as SNAP benefits. It is a system for delivering the SNAP benefits to eligible citizens and households. The EBT card is like a regular debit and credit card and can be used to purchase SNAPs allowed purchased products. The EBT system does not affect your eligibility for the SNAP programs but simply the item that they use to transfer the benefits to you. Eligible citizens will receive their benefits monthly. You can reapply for the SNAP benefits.
